Sitka Sound is renowned for its incredible wildlife. During our expeditions, we encounter an array of marine life such as seals, Stellar sea lions, sea otters, whales, and porpoises. Throughout the year, Humpbacks, Killer Whales, and occasionally Minke and Grey whales make their home in Sitka, Alaska. There's also a vast variety of avian species in the area, including bald eagles, puffins, and murres. Some extra exciting encounters include our coastal brown bears who enjoy feasting on salmon along the coast. Our wildlife tour is perfect for those who want to experience the Tongass National Forest's breathtaking and overwhelming scenery, with fantastic opportunities for photography and making unforgettable memories.

    4-Hour Tour

    The 4-hour tour expands on our 2 hour adventure to give clients the opportunity to experience the open ocean for more wildlife viewing opportunities and a tour of St. Lazaria Island - a world renown bird sanctuary. This amazing island sits just off the coast of Kruzof Island which is home to Sitka’s famous and iconic volcano, Mt Edgecumbe.

    2 Hour Tour

    Explores all the inside waters surrounding Sitka where clients can get up close and personal with fascinating bays, beaches, landmarks, and wildlife. There will be local knowledge, insight, and possible viewing of the various commercial fisheries that take place in Sitka Sound.
